Sarah Shelton
Substitute Teacher
Mrs. Sarah is originally from Folsom. After that she has lived in Florida, Texas, back to California, South Carolina and finally one last move to California. While in Texas she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Early Childhood through 6th grade Education with an ESL Generalist.
She became a part of Rising Sun as a parent first, when her oldest joined the inaugural TK/Kinder class. Continuing through the years her three other children joined the Rising Sun family.
She has been a substitute teacher at Rising Sun since 2023 and has since subbed in all of the classrooms.
She enjoys spending time with her family: husband, four children and miniature labradoodle puppy. They love to travel and go on a lot of road trips. She enjoys finding local coffee shops and bookstores to support on their journeys. She is an avid reader and loves Disney.
