Justine Jorgensen

Justine grew up in a family of educators in a small, tight-knit community in Northern California. Inspired from an early age to support children with differing abilities, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Special Education teaching credential from Sacramento State University, later completing a Master of Arts in Special Education at Sonoma State University. Her career spans seven years as a paraeducator, eight years as a teacher, and now, her second year as Director of Student Services at Rising Sun Montessori School.

Outside of school, she enjoys being in nature, spending time with family, exercising, and exploring diverse worldviews through philosophical, spiritual, and educational literature.
