Estee Garcia

Estee has been a dedicated Montessori teacher for 20 years, with 10 of those years focused on lower elementary—her favorite age group. She loves nurturing the curiosity and sense of wonder that children bring to the classroom, especially during the Five Great Lessons, including the story of our solar system and planet. Estee holds Montessori Teacher Certifications at all levels: primary, lower elementary, and upper elementary.

Estee has a deep love for the Montessori method, which she believes is the best preparation for adulthood. She values the way it fosters independence, encourages children to follow their interests, and helps them grow into capable, confident individuals.

Estee and her husband, Brian, have two teenagers, Michael (16) and Rose (13). Together, they enjoy traveling and recently visited Italy with Brian’s Sicilian family, exploring Palermo and Corleone to connect with their heritage. A student of Italian for the past five years, Estee enjoys sharing the language with her students, blending culture and learning in joyful ways.

Outside of teaching, Estee is passionate about creativity and the outdoors. She is an avid crocheter, often working on multiple projects at once, and enjoys reading and camping with her family, especially in Lake Tahoe.
