Ash Mortensen
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Ash was born and raised in Cameron Park, California. They worked at their karate dojo as their first job at the age of 15. Now, they have an associates degree in early childhood education and are working towards their bachelors in childhood and adolescent development while working in the 3rd/4th grade class as the teachers assistant. This is their 2nd year at rising sun Montessori and 1st year with the 3rd/4th grade. Previously working with the tk/k age group. As well as being the creator of the mural at the front of the school!
In Ms. Ash’s spare time, they enjoy art such as painting and drawing. As well as reading, games, spending time with their 4 cats, dog, and fiancée. They look forward to learning more and growing at Rising Sun Montessori with everyone!
